LG X30 HITS FCC

LG has filed documents with FCC for its upcoming notebook with Intel Atom processor. The LG X30, as it would be called, is an 11.6 inch thin and light laptop. The display has 1366 x 768 pixels. LG is yet to officially announce the laptop, but the details filed with FCC include a user manual, external photos and a number of shots of the computer’s internal parts.

The LG X30 weighs just 2.1 pounds. The storage option, it seems, is a solid state drive. Other features include Wi Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. The touchpad supports multi-touch controls such as pinching to zoom. The user manual states that the notebook would be powered by an Atom processor, but doesn’t specify which Atom processor. No word on pricing or availability as yet.
